Our students of all ages have enjoyed the convenience of living in the same location as they are taught English. The accommodation is comfortable and homely, with a host family who has enjoyed hosting students from all over the world. We have a network of additional host families where our students are able to improve their English and experience the culture of Cape Town, making their stay even more memorable.
All lessons are comprised of a variety of techniques introducing and applying grammar in a practical way through listening, reading, speaking and writing, building vocabulary and using a particular method to refine pronunciation. Various interactive methods such as course book material, dialogue, role plays and games combine to facilitate memory retention, making learning so much easier.

Our modern, stylish and safe school building ensures that you have a comfortable learning environment to use every day. EMECT is also centrally based, close to the main sights and activities Cape Town offers, so you can easily explore the city after class.
